The Instructor
Development Program is an opportunity for qualified participants
to become instructors for The BirchTree Centers introductory
program, ReAwakening the Heart:
Caring & Renewal in Nursing Practice. This complementary/alternative
training program is an introduction to holistic nursing and
complementary skills that has been taught in numerous healthcare
institutions nationwide since 1999. To date over 2700 nurses

"Being
an Instructor for ReAwakening the Heart of Nursing has been
an opportunity for me to honor my colleagues, re-enforce the
value of caring, and raise the consciousness of nurses to
what they already know in their hearts. Each group I have
facilitated has in turn contributed to my personal and professional
growth, making it a sacred and spiritual experience each time."
